Refund policy

1. Return Eligibility — Only for Selected Products

Shopextro offers returns only on specific products mentioned as “Return Eligible” on their respective product pages.

Products not labeled as “Return Eligible” are strictly non-returnable under any circumstances.

Examples of items that are usually not returnable:

  • Personal care items
  • Hygiene-related products
  • Electronics accessories
  • Clearance or discounted items
  • Customized or made-to-order items
  • Clothing without tags, stains, or usage marks

Important:
Return eligibility depends on the exact product page. Customers are responsible for reading eligibility before placing an order.


2. Mandatory Unboxing Video Proof

To prevent misuse and protect both buyer and seller, an unedited unboxing video is required for all return or replacement claims.

The video must:

  • Start before opening the parcel
  • Show the complete unopened package clearly
  • Show the shipping label
  • Capture the entire unboxing process without cuts
  • Show the issue clearly (damage/incorrect product/missing items)

Without video proof, no return, replacement, or refund request can be processed, as per courier and warehouse guidelines.


3. Conditions for Accepting a Return

A return is only possible if all the following are true:

  1. The product is marked as Return Eligible.
  2. The request is raised within 24 hours of delivery.
  3. The product is unused, undamaged, and in original packaging with all accessories.
  4. Mandatory proof (unboxing video) is provided.

If any condition is not met, the return will be rejected.


4. Reasons Accepted for Return (Only for Eligible Products)

Returns are accepted only for valid issues such as:

  • Wrong item received
  • Product damaged during transit
  • Missing items
  • Manufacturing defect (if applicable)

Minor cosmetic issues like small box dents due to shipping are not covered.


5. Reasons NOT Accepted for Return

We do not accept returns for:

  • Customer changed mind
  • Customer not liking the product
  • Wrong size or color ordered by the customer
  • Discounted deals, free gifts, or bundled items
  • No unboxing video
  • Using the product and then claiming issues
  • Orders delivered to incorrect address provided by the customer

6. Refunds (If Applicable)

Refunds are provided ONLY when:

  • The product is eligible for return
  • The return request is approved
  • The product is received and inspected by our team
  • The issue is verified as genuine
  • “Return shipping charges may vary depending on the weight, size, or category of the product. Heavier or oversized items may incur higher return shipping fees, which will be borne by the customer unless the return is due to Shopextro’s error.”

Refund will be processed within 5–10 business days to the original payment method.

Shipping fees and COD charges are non-refundable.


7. Return Shipping Charges

In most cases:

  • Wrong/defective item → Shopextro bears return pickup charges
  • Customer reasons (if approved) → Customer pays return shipping
  • “Please note that certain products may include additional taxes as per GST or applicable regulations. These taxes may vary based on product category, supplier rules, or government requirements. Any applicable tax will be clearly displayed during checkout before payment.”


8. Exchanges / Replacements

If the product is return-eligible and stock is available, we can offer:

  • A replacement of the same item
  • Exchange for the same item only (no switching to different products)

9. Items Not Eligible for Refund

The following items strictly cannot be refunded:

  • Digital products or software
  • Personal use items (grooming, hygiene, etc.)
  • Items without original packaging
  • Items damaged after delivery due to customer handling
